Overall Purpose:

The Indirect Loan Processor is responsible for performing clerical and loan processing duties related to indirect lending. This position reviews and processes loan documentation, funds dealer contracts for new loans, and collaborates with dealerships and internal departments to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely loan funding.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Partner with team members, dealerships, and internal departments to efficiently process and fund loans.

Review loan documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Resolve outstanding conditions and documentation requirements to facilitate timely funding.

Monitor loan pipelines and prioritizing work to meet service-level expectations and funding deadlines.

Maintain accurate loan records and supporting documentation.

Identify opportunities to improve processes and contribute to team success.

Deliver exceptional service while building positive relationships with members, dealership partners, and coworkers.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

Expertise in clerical and loan processing duties related to indirect lending, with a requisite understanding of financial institution operations.

High level of analytical ability where problems are complex (i.e. transaction, loan problems).

Due to periods of high loan volume, this position periodically requires overtime.

Requires the ability to adjust priorities to meet deadlines.

Requires excellent interpersonal communication skills to ascertain dealers'/members' needs and handle problems.

Exceptional time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

HSD or GED - no substitution

One (1) year(s) of applicable experience required.

Prior credit union or related industry preferred.

Prior dealership experience is a plus.
