Fast-growing, dynamic, public event center is looking for a Food & Beverage Intern to support upcoming events including the National High School Finals Rodeo & the Lancaster County Super Fair.

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Food & Beverage Intern to join our team. This hands-on role supports various aspects of food & beverage operations including banquet and concession stand service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Support: Rotate through various service roles to build a foundation for day-to-day operations.
- Service & Guest Interaction: Provide friendly and courteous service to guests. Ensure compliance with company policies and client expectations.
- Logistics & Planning: Exposure to inventory management, menu selection, and behind-the-scenes event coordination. Maintain and update event-related documentation.
- Vendor Relations: Help coordinate and manage outside food & beverage vendor communication.
Qualifications:
- Must be ages 19 due to alcohol serving laws
- Must obtain a Liquor Server/Seller Permit & Prep Cook Food Handlers license from local government authorities.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Hospitality, Event Management, Communication, or a related field
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Comfortable working flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
- Ability to be on your feet for several hours
- Positive attitude, team-oriented, and eager to learn
- Interest in large-scale public events and event operations
