What You’ll Actually Do (Beyond the Textbook)
- Be a Mind Mechanic: Conduct psychological assessments and diagnose emotional, mental, and behavioral disorders without getting bogged down in stuffy, old-school protocols.
- Lead the Healing Journey: Provide evidence-based individual and group therapy sessions that give patients practical, real-world tools for positive mental health growth.
- Play Nice in the Sandbox: Collaborate closely with our multi-disciplinary team of family and psychiatric nurse practitioners to build well-rounded, holistic care models.
The Checklist (The Serious Stuff)
- The Paperwork: A Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an accredited institution.
- The Golden Ticket: Current, unrestricted licensure as a Psychologist in the state of North Carolina.
