Title: Clinical Case Manager

Job Location: Los Lunas, NM (in-person)

Department: Clinical Department

Administrative Supervisor: Clinical Director

Clinical Supervision: Weekly individual and group supervision provided for individuals working toward independent licensure.

FLSA: Non-exempt

Compensation: $65,000.00/Year & an Excellent Benefits Package!

Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in a mental health field (Social Work, Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology).
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a multidisciplinary team environment, with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and clear professional communication.
  • Must pass a pre-employment toxicology screen.

Position Overview:

This is an opportunity for recent graduates to accelerate their clinical careers in a setting widely regarded as the gold standard in residential treatment for children under age 14. Working closely with an established multidisciplinary team, the Clinical Case Manager plays a vital role in supporting the therapeutic course of treatment for our clients and their families. This role offers substantial client-facing hours, robust clinical training, and the structured opportunity to shadow complex cases with senior clinicians—all while developing the essential case management and care coordination skills required of top-tier mental health professionals.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Clinical & Milieu Intervention

  • Provide vigilant, trauma-informed supervision and support within the milieu, actively modeling relational regulation and therapeutic containment for clients.
  • Observe, document, and communicate individual client dynamics and programming needs to assigned therapists and the Clinical Director.
  • Collaborate closely with psychiatric providers by facilitating telepsychiatry sessions, synthesizing milieu observations, and identifying vital behavioral data to inform medication management.
  • Facilitate and provide clinical support during supervised client phone calls and social interactions.
  • Provide clinical coverage in therapist absence.

Multidisciplinary Collaboration & Training

  • Participate in weekly clinical team meetings, specialized diagnostic trainings, and multidisciplinary case conferences.
  • Shadow lead clinicians during individual, group, and family therapy sessions to hone clinical formulation and intervention skills.
  • Serve as the primary professional liaison for Guardians ad Litem (GALs), articulating clinical progress and justifications for continued treatment.

Care Coordination & Case Management

  • Organize and schedule multidisciplinary Treatment Plan Reviews (TPRs) for all caseload clients, ensuring clear communication between departments.
  • Maintain clear, compassionate communication with parents and guardians regarding program updates, staffing changes, and approved contact lists.
  • Oversee the therapeutic and logistical coordination of resident home visits and passes, including travel arrangements, calendar management, and rigorous med-packing verification.
  • Manage client belongings, deliveries, and mail with attention to detail to ensure a safe, structured, and nurturing living environment.
