Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Machine Operator role based in Milford/Cedar City, UT. The Machine Operator will be responsible for operating machinery used in drilling and blasting projects, performing equipment checks, and ensuring proper use of hand tools. Other responsibilities include ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, maintaining equipment, and collaborating with team members to achieve project objectives efficiently.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Machine Operation and working with various types of Machinery
- Experience in Quality Control to ensure adherence to safety protocols and project standards
- Skillful use of heavy equipment controls and related equipment
- Strong Communication skills for effective teamwork and reporting
- Physical stamina and the ability to work efficiently in an on-site, outdoor environment
- Prior experience in drilling and blasting operations or construction-related machinery is a plus
- Knowledge of MSHA safety standards and practices
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications are advantageous
