Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs JD Edwards material transactions (work order/inventory/shipping/receiving) 
• Prepares outbound packages for shipments
• Have knowledge of international shipments (FedEx, UPS, DHL)
• Performs material receipt transactions and reconciliation adjustments with accounts payable or purchasing and stockroom material issuance against work orders
• Executes and resolves cycle count variances and investigates and determines remediation plans for inventory/material variances and shortages
• Processes pick/ship tickets, prepares material for outbound shipments, and expedites/resolves backlog issues
• Recommend and implement inventory optimization strategies to improve inventory accuracy, and availability
• Acts in cross functional roles which may include expediting, PC/IC clerk material handlers, shipping and receiving, cycle counting and stock room functions
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Education:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

Experience:

• Minimum of 1-year experience in a material management capacity in a manufacturing environment 
• Familiar with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems, i.e. Oracle and E1 preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Strong computer skills (MS Office, Windows, Outlook)
• Requires strong math aptitude
• Self motivated and goal driven with a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast paced team environment
• Maintain high level of transaction accuracy

Physical Requirements: 

• Employee is occasionally required to stand
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to walk throughout the facility
• Occasionally will need to bend, stoop and squat 
• Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Required to reach with hands and arms to handle documents and products
• Must be able to enter data into a computer by use of a key board and mouse and be able to sit for long periods at his/her desk as well as occasionally visit employees throughout the building to gather data and clarify information
