IPS – MAST Technologies is seeking a Material Handler/Manufacturing Technician to support daily operations with a focus on shop floor production and supplemental material handling responsibilities. This dual-role position supports both the movement and organization of materials and hands-on production tasks.

Job Accountabilities:
Production Duties:
- Perform manufacturing and assembly operations in accordance with work instructions, quality standards, and safety guidelines
- Operate basic shop floor equipment and tools as required for production tasks
- Assist with setup, breakdown, and cleaning of production work areas
- Monitor in-process materials and communicate shortages or issues to leadership
- Support continuous improvement efforts related to workflow, efficiency, and cleanliness
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely completion of production goals
Material Handling Duties:
- Receive, inspect, and stock incoming materials and components
- Pick, stage, and deliver materials to manufacturing teams based on production needs
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and transactions
- Assist with packaging, labeling, and preparation of goods for shipment
- Manage disposal of hazardous waste (used solvents) and follow all safety protocols
- Support inventory counts and reconcile data discrepancies between physical and system records
Job Specifications
Education: A Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations
Years’ Experience: 2 (plus) years of relevant experience
Skills:
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic computer skills and experience with inventory systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks)
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and self-motivated
