AUTO BODY PAINTER / REFINISH TECHNICIAN
We are a busy, locally owned collision repair shop looking for someone who takes pride in their work and produces high-quality repairs.
Responsibilities:
Prepare vehicles and panels for refinishing- Sand, mask, prime, seal, and prep vehicles for paint
- Mix and match automotive paint colors accurately
- Perform color tinting and blending when needed
- Apply basecoat and clearcoat
- Inspect finished repairs for color match, coverage, texture, and overall quality
- Correct paint imperfections when necessary
- Properly maintain spray guns, equipment, and paint supplies
- Keep the paint department clean, organized, and safe
- Follow proper repair procedures and manufacturer specifications
- Work efficiently with the body technicians and production team
What We're Looking For:
Previous professional automotive painting/refinishing experience preferred- Strong attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship
- Experience with color matching and blending
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Dependable work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to work in a busy collision repair environment
- Valid driver's license
