Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic, Florida-licensed Architect who combines exceptional design skills with a robust professional network to join our innovative and collaborative design team. In this pivotal role, you will lead architectural projects from initial concept through completion, delivering creative, client-centered designs while leveraging your industry contacts to identify and secure exciting niche and specialty project opportunities. Your expertise will drive project success, build lasting client relationships, ensure regulatory and sustainability compliance, and help shape inspiring built environments in a forward-thinking firm that truly values creativity and impact. This is more than a job—it’s an opportunity to grow your career while helping expand our portfolio with distinctive projects in a supportive, energetic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all phases of architectural projects with strong design emphasis: conceptual design, design development, construction documentation, and construction administration.
  • Collaborate closely with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to define clear project scopes, budgets, schedules, and design objectives.
  • Produce high-quality drawings, renderings, and visualizations using Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and other tools.
  • Leverage your professional network to drive business development—identifying and bringing in niche project opportunities, preparing compelling proposals, delivering presentations, and cultivating long-term client relationships.
  • Manage project scheduling, construction estimating, budgeting, and financial controls to deliver on time and within budget.
  • Oversee construction administration activities, including site visits, quality control, contract negotiations, and coordination using Bluebeam and related project management platforms.
  • Utilize Autodesk tools for clash detection and seamless project coordination.
  • Utilize ACC for consultant model coordination.
  • Direct renovation projects and interior design elements to create cohesive, visionary spaces that fully reflect and elevate client visions.

Requirements

  • Active license as a Registered Architect in the State of Florida, with proven experience successfully leading complex architectural projects.
  • Demonstrated excellence in architectural design, supported by a strong portfolio that showcases creativity, innovation, and technical skill.
  • Established professional network and a track record of using contacts to generate or secure new business, particularly in niche or specialty project types.
  • Advanced proficiency in Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, Bluebeam, and standard project management tools.
  • Solid knowledge of construction processes, including estimating, budgeting, contract management, construction administration, building codes, and sustainable practices.
  • Strong organizational and scheduling skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and negotiation abilities across multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
  • Genuine passion for innovative design solutions and a commitment to creating sustainable, impactful environments.

If you are a forward-thinking architect with outstanding design talent and the connections to help grow our firm through new niche opportunities, we would love to hear from you. Join a vibrant team where your creativity, expertise, and vision will be valued, supported, and rewarded as you advance your career and bring exceptional projects to life.

In addition to a resume, please attach a project portfolio, construction document examples, and a list of references for our consideration.
