Salary Range: $14.00 - $16.00 Hourly
Description
Sandalwood Management is seeking a Porter/Groundskeeper to assist the maintenance, make-ready and housekeeping team with general maintenance and upkeep of Dwell at Clearlake in Seabrook, TX.
The Groundskeeper supports the maintenance, make-ready and housekeeping team to help keep property up to Sandalwood standards by tending to the grounds of the property, assist in preparing apartments and complete resident service requests. This is a fast-paced environment that demands attention to detail, hard work and the highest level of customer service.
Qualifications
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Duties include performing various maintenance repairs in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, masonry, carpentry, painting, building exteriors, and appliances
- Responsible for 24-hour emergency maintenance
- Schedule and complete preventative maintenance programs and special projects as required
- Lead maintenance department in order to manage competing priorities and deadlines
- Work with the property manager on budget and projects.
WHAT WE NEED:
- 2 years of apartment maintenance experience and knowledge in repairs, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, building exteriors, appliance installations, etc.
- EPA Universal or Type II, preferred
- Valid driver’s license, required
- Ability to work on-call, evenings and weekends
- Successfully pass pre-employment background check and drug test
- Smart phone
COMPENSATION:
- $14 - $16/hr. depending on experience
- Monthly renewal commission and bonus opportunities
