What are the responsibilities and job description for the Porter - Enclave on Ross position at SANDALWOOD MANAGEMENT?
Sandalwood Management is seeking a Porter/Groundskeeper to assist the maintenance, make-ready and housekeeping team with general maintenance and upkeep of Enclave on Ross in Del Valle, TX.
The Groundskeeper supports the maintenance, make-ready and housekeeping team to help keep property up to Sandalwood standards by tending to the grounds of the property, assist in preparing apartments and complete resident service requests. This is a fast-paced environment that demands attention to detail, hard work and the highest level of customer service.
Qualifications:WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Maintain both interior and exterior grounds of the property to company standards
- Maintain community appearance by regularly inspecting and touring the property. Report any concerns or hazardous conditions immediately and other needed repairs/maintenance to the Maintenance Supervisor or Community Manager
- Preform ongoing landscaping tasks and services for the property such as mowing and weed-eating the grounds, trimming bushes and trees, planting vegetation, laying mulch, removing dead plants and weeds, water and fertilize plants, rake leaves and maintain grass
- Mix and spray fertilizer, herbicides or insecticides
- Gather and remove litter, trash and other items that do not belong on property
- Work with maintenance team, contractors, vendors and other affiliates in preparation of units and grounds
- Acquire and maintain thorough knowledge of the buildings, grounds, swimming pools and other areas as required
- Assist in making vacant apartments ready for new resident including but not limited to painting, carpet cleaning, repairs, etc.
- Make repairs in a timely manner
- Perform any and all duties called upon by supervisors to ensure that property operates in an efficient and economic manner
- Respond to all request and inquiries in a prompt and courteous manner
WHAT WE NEED:
- 1 years of experience and knowledge in landscaping, repairs, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, building exteriors, appliance repair and installations, etc.
- Valid driver’s license, required
- Successfully pass pre-employment background check and drug test
- Smart phone
COMPENSATION:
- Negotiable, depending on experience
