Salary Range: $55,000 – $68,000 annually
Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Commercial Property Manager to support the day-to-day management of a commercial property portfolio in the Westlake and Dripping Springs areas of Austin, Texas. This is a 100% in-office position that requires frequent local travel between properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in commercial real estate operations, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively with tenants, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities

Assist the Commercial Property Manager with daily operations of assigned commercial properties

Coordinate and oversee maintenance requests, repairs, and vendor services

Support tenant relations, including responding to inquiries, coordinating move-ins/move-outs, and assisting with tenant communications

Assist with lease administration, including abstracting leases, tracking critical dates, and maintaining accurate records

Prepare and organize reports related to property operations, expenses, and occupancy

Process invoices, assist with budgeting, and support accounts payable functions

Maintain accurate property records and documentation within property management systems

Conduct regular property inspections and report findings

Ensure properties are maintained in accordance with company standards and lease requirements

Provide general administrative support to the property management team as needed
Qualifications

1–2 years of commercial real estate or property management experience required

Strong working knowledge of commercial property operations

Yardi proficiency strongly preferred

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required

Ability to travel locally up to 50% of the time between Westlake and Dripping Springs

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
