Sandalwood Management is seeking a Maintenance Lead to supervise the maintenance team and assist with general maintenance and upkeep of Centerpoint Depot in San Marcos, TX.
Qualifications:WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Lead maintenance department in order to manage competing priorities and deadlines
- Schedule and complete preventative maintenance programs and special projects as required
- Work with the property manager on budget and projects
- Perform various maintenance repairs in electrical, plumbing, pool, masonry, carpentry, painting, building exteriors, and appliances
- Prepare vacant units, complete work orders, and maintain grounds
- Responsible for 24-hour emergency maintenance
- Other maintenance duties as assigned
WHAT WE NEED:
- 3 years of multifamily housing maintenance experience and knowledge in repairs, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, building exteriors, appliance repair and installations, etc.
- Valid driver’s license, required
- EPA Universal license/ HVAC, required
- Certified Pool Operator, a plus
- Ability to work on-call, evenings and rotating weekends, required
- Successfully pass pre-employment background check and drug test, required
- Smart phone
COMPENSATION:
- up to $33/Hr negotiable, depending on experience
