What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate, Production Weekend position at Sandals Church?
LOCATION: Hunter Park
HOURS: ~20 per week
- Saturday: 3:30 - 7:30 PM (4 hrs)
- Sunday: 6:45 AM - 2:15 PM (7.5 hrs)
- Misc: 8.5 hrs to prepare, invest in team, learn, etc (and attend HP Engagement)
JOB DESCRIPTION
Execute Excellent Weekend Service
- Arrive before services to set up systems for all kids spaces
- Turn on all lights and music in spaces/hallways
- Perform mic checks and test any other production equipment being used
- Hold a pre-service leader meeting with hosts and production room leads
- Oversee services in all kids spaces
- Shut down equipment at the end of services
- Clean up production spaces
- Ensure that all production spaces are left in a clean condition
- Make sure to straighten up any backstage spaces
- Fill out and submit Weekend Eval before Monday @ 10am
Build, Develop, and Care For a Volunteer Team
- Recruit volunteers to serve on the production team, growing team to not only include students
- Equip the team to do the work of ministry
- Train team members to execute services with excellence on the various positions
- Pour into a core team of leaders who lead and coach the students in kids spaces
- Empower and release the core team of leaders to lead in their respective spaces and keep younger volunteers off their phones and computer games and on task
- Care and pray for the volunteers on the team
Lead Yourself Well
- Pursue training opportunities to further your skills and knowledge in production
- Pursue leadership training as you learn to lead room coaches
- Create healthy spiritual rhythms
- Attend at least one adult service a week
- Be part of a discipleship group here at Sandals Church
COMPENSATION INFORMATION:
Pay Range: $20-$23 per hour.
We will provide a pay rate that is within our compensation structure and that fits a candidate’s qualifications and experience for the job. A wage range posted is not a guarantee of a specific wage for a job offer.
