Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly.
- Manage cash handling processes accurately, including processing payments through POS systems like Aloha and Micros.
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering supplies and tracking stock levels.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable.
- Participate in special events such as banquets or catering services as needed.
- Demonstrate strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Previous bartending experience in a restaurant or nightclub setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar systems is highly desirable.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and sales transactions.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience in fine dining or catering environments is a plus.
