Join our early childhood team as a Daycare Director/Childcare Director. In this role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure compliance with licensing standards, and foster a positive, engaging atmosphere for children, families, and staff alike. Your leadership will be pivotal in creating a safe, educational, and joyful space that promotes early childhood development and lifelong learning.
- Manage daily daycare operations, including staff scheduling, classroom activities, and facility maintenance to ensure smooth functioning.
- Lead and support a team of educators and caregivers by providing mentorship, training, and performance evaluations to uphold high-quality childcare standards.
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote childhood development, early learning skills, and social-emotional growth.
- Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations, health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures and emergency preparedness.
- Foster strong relationships with families through regular communication, updates on children’s progress, and addressing concerns promptly.
- Oversee classroom management to maintain a positive environment conducive to learning and caregiving for infants, toddlers and preschoolers.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's/Associates's Degree in early childhood education, child development, or a related field (special education, elementary education or the human services field and 30 credits in ECE)
- At least one (1) year of experience with children
- Clearances and physical with TB test are required
