Duties
- Assist with patient intake by collecting medical histories, vital signs, and updating electronic health record (EHR) systems efficiently.
- Support physicians and healthcare providers during examinations, procedures, and treatments.
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining processes, ensuring comfort, and administering medications or injections under supervision.
- Perform clinical tasks such as X-ray imaging, medication administration, and EKG diagnostics.
- Manage administrative responsibilities like ICD coding for diagnoses, scheduling appointments, and maintaining accurate medical records.
- Conduct routine clinical assessments including vital signs measurement, anatomy and physiology evaluations, and patient education on health management.
Experience
- Prior experience working in hospital medicine or outpatient clinics is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated familiarity with EHR systems and medical terminology to ensure precise documentation.
- Hands-on experience with medical procedures such as X-ray imaging or medication administration in inpatient or outpatient settings.
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, ICD coding practices, and basic life support protocols is essential.
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
