Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections of vacation rental properties to identify maintenance issues or safety hazards.
- Repair or replace faulty appliances, plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC units, and other property components.
- Address urgent maintenance requests from guests or property managers promptly and professionally.
- Assist with property setup, including furniture assembly, appliance installation, and minor renovations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, including completed tasks and materials used.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and property managers to ensure smooth property turnovers.
- Follow safety protocols and proper use of tools and equipment at all times.
- Maintain and organize maintenance supplies, tools and equipment.
- Reccommend upgrades or improvements to enhance property safety, functionality, and guest experience.
- Requirements
- Previous experience in property maintenance, repair work, or vacation rental maintenance preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Good physical stamina: ability to lift, bend, climb, and stand for extended periods.
- Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general repair techniques.
- Basic handyman skills for minor carpentry, painting, and appliance repair.
- Time management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with guests or property staff.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to identify and troubleshoot maintenance problems quickly and safely.
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
