Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Gas Station Attendant to join our team. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with purchases.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system and cash register accurately.
- Process transactions swiftly while ensuring accuracy in handling cash and credit payments.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the gas station, including the convenience store area.
- Stock shelves and ensure that products are displayed attractively to encourage sales.
- Assist with inventory management and report any discrepancies or shortages promptly.
Shifts available
- We currently have several flexible shifts open. You also must be available to work every other weekend.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales or a grocery store environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Must be 18
- Familiarity with cash registers and POS systems is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on customer interaction.
- Basic understanding of retail math to assist with transactions and inventory management.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work as part of a team are essential for success in this role.
