They help run the front of the store, create a welcoming atmosphere, and keep both customers and staff safe while the dispensary stays moving at full speed.You are the first impression customers get when they walk in and the person the team looks to when things get busy.This role is perfect for someone who can stay calm under pressure, lead with confidence, keep things organized, and still crack a smile during a hectic Saturday rush.If you like fast-paced environments, leadership, customer interaction, problem-solving, and being the person who keeps everything under control without making it feel stressful, this role was made for you. Duties & Responsibilities· Security Operations· Monitor entrances, exits, restricted areas, and overall activity· Perform customer ID verification and intake procedures· Ensure only authorized customers and visitors enter the facility· Help maintain strong security awareness while still creating a welcoming environment· Perform required security audits and compliance checks· Respond quickly and professionally to situations requiring security intervention· Assist with crowd flow and customer traffic during high-volume periods· Work closely with management and local emergency services when needed· Help prevent on-site consumption, diversion, or unauthorized activity Team & Store Support· Lead by example with professionalism, reliability, and positive energy· Keep communication clear between front desk staff, security, and management· Maintain accurate incident reporting and documentation when needed What Makes Someone Great in This Role· Calm under pressure and quick on their feet· Friendly but confident· Strong leadership and communication skills· Excellent situational awareness and attention to detail· Great at multitasking without losing focus· Team-oriented and dependable· Comfortable balancing hospitality with authority· Positive attitude with strong problem-solving skills Required Skills & Abilities· Strong verbal and written communication skills· Ability to handle difficult situations professionally· Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills· Ability to multitask and stay organized in fast-paced environments· Strong attention to detail and operational awareness· Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays· Comfortable working in both retail and security-focused environments· Basic computer and reporting skills Education & Experience· Must be 21 years of age or older· High School Diploma or equivalent required· Must pass all required background checks· Previous security, retail leadership, hospitality, or cannabis experience preferred· Experience leading teams or managing operations is a plus· Dispensary or high-volume retail experience strongly preferred Physical Requirements· Ability to stand for extended periods of time· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs· Comfortable working in active, fast-paced environments throughout the shift Additional Employment InformationThis position may require nights, weekends, and holidays based on operational needs.
