Sanctuary Medicinals in FL, is seeking a Maintenance Lead to support and guide operations across our cannabis facilities. We’re looking for a results-driven individual with strong technical knowledge, leadership capabilities, and the ability to work cross functionally in a regulated, fast paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead day-to-day maintenance activities across cultivation and retail facilities
- Conduct facility inspections and generate routine operational reports for senior leadership
- Assist with planning and budgeting for maintenance-related improvements and upgrades
- Monitor and ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory standards
- Coordinate repairs, system upgrades, and scheduled servicing of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Build and maintain relationships with third-party service providers and contractors
- Support training of maintenance team members and serve as point-of-contact during off-hours
- Collaborate with department heads to prioritize maintenance needs and ensure minimal operational disruptions
- Track and maintain logs using digital maintenance management systems
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 25 years of age
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in facility or industrial maintenance
- Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate teams or contractors
- Strong organizational and communication skills; experience with report writing and tracking KPIs
- Solid knowledge of building systems (electrical, HVAC, plumbing) and preventative maintenance
- Familiarity with GPP/GMP practices and cannabis facility compliance preferred
- Comfortable using maintenance tracking software and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on efficiency, uptime, and operational readiness
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification preferred)
- Must be available for On-Call support, including nights and weekends as needed
- Willing to travel throughout the state of Florida to company-owned facilities
- Must be able to pass a Level 2 background screening
- Ability to lift 75 lbs, work at heights, and operate basic power tools and equipment
- Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team
