Position Summary

Sanctuary Camelback Mountain is seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Outlets/Restaurant General Manager to lead the daily operations of our restaurant and bar outlets while driving exceptional guest satisfaction, team engagement, and financial performance.


This leadership role oversees all front-of-house food and beverage operations, partnering closely with culinary leadership and resort management to ensure the highest standards of service, quality, and operational excellence are consistently delivered. What You'll Do

  • Lead and oversee all front-of-house food and beverage operations, ensuring seamless daily execution across restaurant and lounge outlets
  • Drive exceptional guest experiences by maintaining elevated service standards and responding effectively to guest feedback
  • Partner with culinary leadership to develop menu presentations, promotions, food and wine pairings, and enhanced dining experiences
  • Conduct pre-shift meetings and ongoing training to educate and inspire restaurant leadership and service teams
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, alcohol service, and operational standards
  • Manage labor, cost controls, inventories, and revenue performance to achieve departmental financial goals
  • Oversee point-of-sale programming and operational systems including Micros POS
  • Recruit, develop, coach, and mentor managers and hourly team members to support operational success and career growth
  • Analyze guest satisfaction metrics, online reviews, and operational data to identify opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with resort leadership on budgeting, forecasting, capital projects, and strategic initiatives
  • Maintain strong communication and collaboration across departments to support overall resort operations
  • Ensure all restaurant facilities, equipment, and operational areas are maintained to luxury standards


What You Bring

  • 10-15 years of progressive food & beverage leadership experience, preferably within luxury hotels, resorts, or upscale dining environments
  • Strong knowledge of restaurant, lounge, and bar operations including liquor control, service standards, and food safety regulations
  • Proven leadership ability with experience managing, coaching, and developing high-performing teams
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, P&Ls, forecasting, labor controls, and inventory management
  • Experience working with Micros POS systems and hospitality operational software
  • Excellent communication, organization, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to remain calm, professional, and solution-oriented in fast-paced and high-pressure environments
  • Passion for luxury hospitality, guest service excellence, and creating memorable experiences
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and move throughout various operational areas
