- Works closely with the Parts and Service department to ensure technicians and customers have the required parts
- Checks the Parts Delivery bin throughout the day and loads the delivery truck in the order parts are to be delivered
- Ensures each part to be delivered has a corresponding invoice
- Delivers parts to the shop and customers on a daily basis
- Picks-up and returns cores and warranty parts, along with the necessary paperwork
- Unload all cores and put them in the core bins
- Processes paperwork necessary for recording deliveries/pick-ups
- Safeguards parts during transit and ensures zero damage
- Maintains a friendly and courteous demeanor towards customers and co-workers
- Available to respond to emergency pick-up and delivery after hours including nights, weekends and holidays

knowledge:
- Requires a high school diploma or general education diploma (GED)
- Need to pass a DOT physical to obtain a DOT health card to operate a commercial vehicle
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Reads and understands reference books and complicated procedures and manuals
- Basic computer skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Apply good judgment in recognizing scope of authority
- Ability to prioritize multiple part pick-ups and deliveries
- Punctual and makes no delays in deliveries
- Must be able to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Prepared to work in any traffic, weather, and timing according to the Company’s business needs
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or more as needed
