What You'll Do
As a Parts Advisor, you'll be the connection between customers, service technicians, and the parts department. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting customers in person, over the phone, and online with parts inquiries
- Identifying, sourcing, and ordering the correct parts quickly and accurately
- Preparing quotes, processing orders, and completing invoices
- Supporting service technicians by pulling and staging parts for repairs
- Receiving, inspecting, and stocking inventory
- Managing backorders and following up on special-order parts
- Recommending related parts, attachments, and preventative maintenance items
- Maintaining accurate inventory records through cycle counts and organization
- Processing warranty, return, and core transactions
- Helping maintain a clean, organized, and efficient parts department
What We're Looking For
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in parts sales, equipment, agriculture, automotive, trucking, or related industries
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to identify equipment components
- Experience with inventory systems, ERP software, or parts lookup catalogs
