House Cleaner Responsibilities
- Perform detailed residential and short-term rental cleanings including kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas, hallways, and common spaces
- Sweep, vacuum, mop, dust, and sanitize all assigned areas to company standards
- Clean and disinfect toilets, sinks, showers, bathtubs, mirrors, countertops, appliances, and high-touch surfaces
- Change bed linens, make beds, and restock guest or client essentials when required
- Empty trash bins, replace trash bags, and dispose of waste properly
- Refill supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, soap, and cleaning products when needed
- Deep clean appliances including ovens, refrigerators, microwaves, and stovetops when assigned
- Spot clean walls, doors, baseboards, windows, and furniture as needed
- Follow detailed cleaning checklists and complete tasks within scheduled timeframes
- Inspect completed work to ensure high-quality results and client satisfaction
- Report damages, maintenance issues, missing items, or safety concerns to management immediately
- Safely handle and store cleaning chemicals and equipment according to company procedures
- Maintain professional communication with clients, guests, and team members
- Arrive to appointments on time and maintain reliable attendance
- Work independently or as part of a cleaning team in homes, apartments, and Airbnb/short-term rental properties
- Transport cleaning supplies and equipment to and from job sites when necessary
- Follow company standards for presentation, professionalism, and customer service
- Be comfortable performing physically demanding tasks including standing, bending, lifting, and climbing stairs for extended periods
- Ensure properties are guest-ready and presentation-ready before leaving each job site
- Lock doors, secure properties, and follow all client privacy and confidentiality guidelines
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous residential, hotel, Airbnb, or housekeeping experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently
- Reliable transportation preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends if needed
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and dependable communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain consistency across all cleaning
- Proven experience in residential cleaning or janitorial roles, with a strong understanding of cleaning techniques and sanitation standards
- Experience in commercial or hotel housekeeping management is a plus, demonstrating reliability and organizational skills
- Familiarity with cleaning tools, equipment, and eco-friendly products
