Responsibilities
Assist licensed electricians with installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems on construction sites. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to perform various electrical tasks. Help with wiring low voltage and high voltage systems in commercial or industrial environments. Conduct routine inspections using tools like ohmmeters to test circuits and troubleshoot issues. Support the installation of electrical components following NEC (National Electrical Code) standards. Participate in site safety procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to safety guidelines related to construction and electrical work.
Skills
Strong interest in electrical systems, construction, or related fields with industrial or commercial electrician experience preferred. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment such as ohmmeters. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately. Knowledge of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems is a plus. Experience working on construction sites or in construction environments demonstrating safety awareness.
