Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Oversee the team responsible for engineering design on roadways and multi-modal transportation corridor projects
• Serve as a technical specialist in roadway design, alignment and grade, hydraulics, right-of-way, or other design specialty areas
• Manage team effort to meet goals for project delivery and quality while managing budget and schedule
• Develop new business for the team and prepare proposals for major project pursuits
• Develop and maintain client relationships
• Create a positive working environment through supportive teamwork, proactive communication and enthusiastic attitude
• Other duties as assigned
  
  

Minimum Education Requirements

• B.S. in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Environmental Engineering or a related field
  
  

Required Qualifications (skills/experience/certifications)

• PE License in Montana, or ability to obtain by reciprocity
• 10 years of relevant transportation and roadway design experience
• Demonstrated ability to manage a team, work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members
• Strong technical writing and presentation skills
  
  

Preferred Qualifications (skills/experience/certifications)

• Experience working with MDT or similar DOT client preferred
• Demonstrated experience with design software (MicroStation/OpenRoads or AutoCAD)

Compensation: $125,000 - $165,000 per year

Work Location: In-person in our Billings, Bozeman, Helena, or Missoula, MT office
