Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team of skilled and dedicated land surveyors
• Perform a wide variety of tasks including construction staking, boundary surveys, topographic surveys, project control, running level loops, and flood plain surveys
• Utilize survey grade equipment including Trimble R10 & R12 GPS receivers, Trimble Robotic total stations, and digital leveling equipment
• Travel to project sites (up to 10 weeks of travel per year)
• Perform office tasks including survey calculations, preparing survey notes & exhibits, using AutoCAD, Trimble Business Center, and MS Office
  
  

Education Requirements

• High School Diploma
• AS or BS in Land Surveying or Construction Technology, a Land Surveying minor, or related degree (preferred)
  
  

Required Qualifications (skills/experience/certifications)

• 1 years of surveying experience
• Valid driver’s license
• Proficiency with Trimble GPS, robotic total stations, and digital leveling equipment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
• Attention to detail
• Strong communication and note taking skills
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to operate independently in the field
  
  

Preferred Qualifications (skills/experience/certifications)

• Knowledge of Trimble Business Center and AutoCAD

Compensation: $30 - $38 per hour

Work Location: In-person in Billings or Bozeman, MT (relocation assistance is available)
