Job Summary
This position serves as Integrative Life Network’s (Sana as Stowe) treatment placement specialists and are responsible for connecting and building trust within their respective healthcare communities as reliable resources for behavioral health treatment placement across a vast network of facilities and resources, ranging from mental illness, addiction, co-occurring disorders to multiple modalities. This person should fully understand the program(s) they represent and company messaging to accurately market to community partners. This individual will be expected to meet goals focused on key performance indicators such as inquiry volume and admissions.
Responsibilities
The Business Development and Outreach Specialist should be highly motivated sales professionals with a desire to change lives. We are looking for self-starters who want to help families in need by promoting a network of world-class treatment facilities, managing a defined territory and contributing to the industry with your expertise in healthcare related sales and consultative selling. The primary objective is to create and nurture relationships with referral partners to drive business to ILN. This position will be responsible for hosting networking events and dinners, facilitating tours, attending conferences and weekly meetings with referral partners. This position will be required to travel.
Requirements and Essential Functions
- Identify decision makers in the target markets and reach out to establish relationships within the behavioral healthcare company.
- Complete face-to-face meetings with decision makers to understand customer’s needs and identify/eliminate obstacles to securing partnerships for ILN.
- Strategically develop and execute quarterly and annual performance objectives for the target market.
- Plan and route activity and meetings in target market.
- Attend and participate in conferences where opportunities exist to market ILN services.
- Plan and attend facility tours, professional weekends and facility events for decision makers in the target market.
- Plan and facilitate networking events to include breakfasts, lunches, and dinners.
- Negotiate and secure contracts.
- Respond immediately to service and referral inquiries.
- Manage the referral from receipt to securing communication from facilities through admission.
- Serve as a liaison in communicating with referral source, the admission process, secure information and addressing any concerns that arise in the process.
- Manage referrals and referral source information in contact base.
- Document meaningful activity related to decision makers in target market in contact database.
- Attend and participate in national calls and weekly team calls.
- Plan and attend individual site visits to program portfolio.
- Participate in Quarterly field ride with National Director of Outreach and Marketing
- Manage expenses and company credit card tasks as designated by administrator.
- Manages data entry within the CRM and records all meetings, events, calls, emails, etc. on a weekly basis
- Supports the National Outreach Director in development of company growth strategy
Experience and General Standards:
- Bachelor’s degree with experience in consultative sales and/or clinical training in behavioral healthcare, substance abuse, or related field is preferred.
- Experience in consultative sales in behavioral healthcare, substance abuse, or related field preferred.
- Self-motivation, organization and a passion to help are a must. A hunter with a proven history of top ranking in past positions with a highly energetic and focused sales personality.
- Experience in finding prospective new referents, soliciting new business and closing on sales opportunities.
- Proven track record of cold calling, outbound sales and CRM records management is required.
- 75% of local travel with ability to travel out of state overnight quarterly.
- Knowledge of office administration procedures with the ability to operate most standard office equipment.
- Computer skills including Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work professionally with sensitive, proprietary data & information while maintaining confidentiality.
- Excellent interpersonal skills include the ability to interact effectively and professionally with individuals at all levels; both internal and external.
- Must be able to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously within inflexible time frames. Ability to
adapt to frequent priority changes.
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
