Physical Therapy Technician (Part-Time)
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Physical Therapy Technician to join our team. This part-time role is vital in supporting our licensed physical therapists and ensuring an exceptional experience for our patients. This position can be helpful for getting into PT or PTA school.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist physical therapists in preparing treatment areas and equipment.
- Guide patients through prescribed exercise routines and provide support during therapy sessions.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the clinic.
- Communicate effectively with patients, offering encouragement and fostering a positive atmosphere.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting, personal training, or as a physical therapy aide (preferred but not required).
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- A passion for helping others improve their health and well-being.
- Ability to lift/move equipment and assist patients as needed.

Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for someone passionate about healthcare, ideally with aspirations to enter a Physical Therapy (PT) or Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) program. Candidates with backgrounds in personal training or graduates of a physical therapy technician program are encouraged to apply. The ability to multitask, provide patient-centered care, and contribute to a positive team dynamic is essential.
Schedule:
- Approximately 27 hours per week.
- Morning shift: Mon-Thurs, 1:00 pm–6:30 pm and Friday 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
- Alternative schedule could include 1-2 morning shifts (7:30 am to 12:00 pm) instead of all afternoons.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.15 - $16.00 per hour
