Position: Trombone Instructor (Part-Time, In-Studio)

Job Overview
We are seeking an engaging and reliable Trombone Instructor to join our in-person faculty. This position is ideal for educators who are passionate about helping students grow musically and personally. Experience teaching other brass instruments (trumpet, tuba, horn) and/or beginner to intermediate piano is a plus and may lead to increased teaching hours and responsibilities.
In addition to private instruction, there may be opportunities to expand your role through coaching small ensembles, assisting with youth wind/brass workshops, and participating in group class leadership roles.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Music (Trombone Performance, Brass Pedagogy, or Music Education preferred)
- Teaching experience (private or group) is preferred but not required
- Must reside within 30 minutes of San Ramon, CA
- Strong communication skills and a professional, positive attitude
- Willingness to contribute to a collaborative and student-centered teaching environment
Bonus Qualifications
- Ability to teach multiple brass instruments
- Ability to teach beginner/intermediate piano
- Interest in coaching ensembles or assisting with recitals and group classes
