About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Seacrest Convalescent Hospital, Inc. As a CNA, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care and assisting with daily living activities. You will work closely with our nursing staff to ensure the highest level of care for our patients. Minimum Qualifications:
- Current CNA certification from accredited school
- BLS/CPR certification
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a short/long-term care facility
- Experience with electronic medical records
Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
- Assist with patient mobility, including transferring and positioning
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
- Maintain a clean and safe patient environment
Skills:
As a CNA, you will use your strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with patients and their families. You will also use your physical strength and dexterity to assist with patient mobility and daily living activities. In addition, you will use your attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain accurate patient records and ensure a clean and safe patient environment. Your ability to work effectively in a team environment will be essential to providing the highest level of care to our patients.
