Job Summary
Under the direction of the site administrator, a Substitute Teacher provides instructional support and classroom supervision in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. The Substitute Teacher is responsible for implementing lesson plans, maintaining a positive and safe learning environment, supervising students, and supporting student learning in accordance with the goals and expectations of San Pasqual Union School District. Substitute Teachers may be assigned to a variety of grade levels and instructional settings throughout the district. Successful candidates will demonstrate flexibility, strong classroom management skills, effective communication, and the ability to engage students while maintaining a positive and respectful learning environment.
