Job Summary
The Education Services Department is looking for people to translate written and oral communications for parents and teachers. We are looking for all languages, but are most in need of translators, for Spanish, Mandarin and Portuguese and Simultaneous American Sign Language. Translators will attend meetings and parent conferences to support translation for parents. Translators also support the district and school sites with written translation of documents and report card comments. Applicants must have an extensive vocabulary in both English and their second language and follow confidentiality guidelines of the District. All applicants will be interviewed and assessed before acceptance onto the list of approved translators. Please fill out the classified application and submit to Human Resources.
