Plant Engineer

Are you an experienced engineer with hands-on experience with HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, refrigeration and boiler systems?  If you are able to work under minimal supervision and able to perform a variety of duties including maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and installation, we'd love for you to apply for our Plant Engineer position!  

What You'll Have:   

• 4 years of building systems or electrical control experience is strongly preferred   
• Knowledge and journey level skills in motor and HVAC electrical controls. 
• The selected individual will hold an acceptable driving record allowing that they can be insured.  
• Willing and able to maintain the appropriate certification, licensure or registration as mandated by the specific governing agency to carry out essential functions of the position.  

What You'll Do:

• Perform maintenance, installation, and repair of electrical systems and controls such as receptacles, cords, circuits, light fixtures; perform electrical circuit installations; Assure all circuits are in conformance with state and NEC. Inspect and perform safety tests on electrical circuits and HVAC systems; isolate defects and repair them, such as faulty controls, motors and wiring systems, and equipment.  
• Repair or replace defective piping or fixtures; open clogged drains; thaw frozen pipes; repair and overhaul pumps & heat exchangers.  
• Operates steam plant and repairs/replaces steam traps, steam leaks, sight glasses, etc.  
• Monitor HVAC systems through the building automation system; inspect and operate heating systems, refrigerating machinery, cooler, and freezer units; maintain and repair these systems.
