Job Summary
Under the direction of the Director, carries primary responsibility at the site level for all Early Learning components; plans and implements developmentally appropriate curriculum for each child; creates a room environment that invites children to explore, create, discuss and share; plans, prepares, and provides healthy meals, including snacks and breakfasts, on a daily basis; plans monthly parent education meetings based on family needs; responsible for maintenance of children's records; supervises staff, parents and other volunteers working in the classroom; performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements / Qualifications
REQUIRED: 1. A valid Child Development Site Supervisor Permit. 2. A valid California driver’s license. 3. Valid First Aid and CPR certification. DESIRABLE: 1. Two years of experience as a preschool teacher. 2. Bilingual (Spanish/English) competency.
ALL OF THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS ARE REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION:
- CPR/First Aid Certification (Copy of Valid First Aid and CPR certification)
- Credential Copy (A Valid Child Development Site Supervisor Permit or, Transcripts Demonstrating Required Semester Units for Site Supervisor Permit)
- Letter of Introduction
- Letter(s) of Recommendation (Minimum 3 current letters of recommendation)
- Other (A valid California driver’s license.)
- Resume
