What are the responsibilities and job description for the Substitute Special Education Paraeducator/Instructional Aide position at San Luis Coastal USD?
On call for Special Education Paraeducators for both elementary and secondary, at all school sites (San Luis Obispo, Morro Bay, and Los Osos). You will be dealing with Special Education students (physical handicaps, emotional disturbances and/or learning disabilities), ages ranging from 3 to 22, under the direction of a Special Education teacher. Typical hours are 8:15am - 2:45PM, but can be for shorter periods of time. School days only.
You must pass a fingerprint clearance and TB test.
This is a substitute position with no guaranteed hours or benefits. You must be available at least 2 days per week.
