Job Summary

San Luis Coastal USD is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic teacher for our Spanish/English Dual Language Immersion program. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality elementary instruction that supports bilingualism, biliteracy, and academic success for all students.

No more than 2 years old) Resume Credential Copy - screen shot of CTC webpage, copy of out of state credential, or letter from university (if applicable) Transcripts A valid California Multiple Subject credential with English Learner Authorization, is required. Applicants must be bilingual/biliterate in English and Spanish and hold a BCLAD or BSP (Bilingual authorization) or be eligible for an emergency Bilingual Authorization and willing to obtain full Bilingual Authorization. Out of state applicants must qualify for a Multiple Subject credential and demonstrate bilingual fluency in order to qualify for a temporary bilingual authorization. If you are selected, we will assist you in obtaining the appropriate documentation. Attach copies of out of state credential and verification of fluency. *Please note that all out of state applicants will be required to obtain a substitute permit if the transfer of their credential is not processed by July 1, 2026. Applicants who have not yet received their credentials MUST attach a status letter from their university showing the expected date of completion of the credential program as well as verification of eligibility for the bilingual authorization in Spanish.
