CLASS TITLE: INSTRUCTIONAL ASSISTANT-PHYSICAL EDUCATION RANGE: 32A BASIC FUNCTION: Under the direction of a principal, plan, provide and monitor physical education classes for children in cooperation with certificated staff members; provide a quality standards-based and develop knowledge and skills in exercises, sports, and teamwork; distribute classroom equipment. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school and one-year experience working with school-aged children in an organized setting. LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Valid First Aid and CPR certificates. ENVIRONMENT: Outdoor and playground environment. Constant interruptions.
