San Juan Diego Academy (SJDA) is seeking a dedicated, faith-filled, and enthusiastic Elementary Teacher to join our school community for the 2026–2027 academic year. We are a vibrant Catholic school committed to academic excellence, spiritual growth, and the development of the whole child.
Position Overview:
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing, engaging, and structured classroom environment that supports student learning and reflects the mission and values of Catholic education.
Responsibilities Include:
-Plan and deliver high-quality instruction aligned with curriculum standards
-Foster a positive, inclusive, and faith-centered classroom environment
-Integrate Catholic teachings and values across subject areas
-Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback
-Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
-Participate actively in school events, liturgies, and professional development
Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in Education (Master’s degree preferred)
-Valid teaching certification (or ability to obtain)
-Practicing Catholic preferred, with a commitment to supporting the mission of Catholic education
-Strong classroom management and organizational skills
-Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team
