Role Description
This is a contract, on-site role for Physicians and Investigators for Clinical Research at San Jose Clinical Trials, located in San Jose, CA. (Funded relocation is not available as this is a contracted/ hourly role). Responsibilities can include overseeing clinical research trials, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines, monitoring patient safety, managing study documentation, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary research team to meet or exceed enrollment goals and timelines.
Qualifications
- Experience in clinical research, including understanding of Phase I-IV study protocols and regulatory guidelines.
- Strong skills in patient safety monitoring, medical assessments, and clinical oversight.
- Knowledge of FDA regulations and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Doctor of Medicine (MD), Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO), or equivalent qualifications. Board certification for CA is required.
- NPI required for CA.
- Ability to work collaboratively with research teams in an on-site clinical environment.
- Prior experience in conducting or supervising clinical trials is highly desirable.
