Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role for a Baseball/Softball Coach based in San Jose, CA. The coach will be responsible for conducting individual and group training sessions, teaching proper techniques, developing custom training plans, and offering mentorship to players of all ages and skill levels. Additional responsibilities include monitoring player progress, providing constructive feedback, enforcing safety protocols, and fostering teamwork and sportsmanship. The coach may also assist with Titans Baseball activities and events as needed.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of baseball/softball fundamentals, including batting, pitching, and fielding techniques
- Proven experience coaching or playing baseball or softball
- Ability to develop customized training plans and effectively teach players of varying skill levels
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for motivating and mentoring athletes
- Commitment to safety protocols and creating a positive, inclusive environment for players
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required
- Experience working with youth and/or competitive teams is a strong advantage
