What are the responsibilities and job description for the School Nurse position at San José Unified School District?
The impact you will have: As a credentialed School Nurse you will use your nursing skills to provide the health assessments, case management and individualized healthcare support that is critical to student success. Our nurses serve in a pivotal role that bridges health care and education by identifying and removing barriers to student achievement. What you need for this position:
- Resume and Letter of Introduction outlining desire and qualifications for this position
- Bachelor's Degree
- California RN License
- Standard Designated Services Credential with a specialization in Health (preliminary credential accepted)
- California Audiometrist Certificate (must be completed within first year of employment)
- CPR / First Aid Certificate
- Valid California Driver's License
