SEEKING

Equity actors for roles in San Francisco Playhouse's 2026-27 Season (See breakdown).

All races, ethnicities, genders, sexualities, and dis/abilities are encouraged to audition.

PREPARATION

For all PLAYS: Please prepare 1 contemporary monologue. You may bring a second monologue if you do not wish to be considered for a musical. For all MUSICALS: Please prepare up to 60 seconds of a song in the style of the show. Selections from the shows themselves are strongly encouraged. You may bring a second song if you do not wish to be considered for a play. A monologue is not required. An accompanist will be available. Please bring sheet music clearly marked, in the correct key. Slots will be 3-minutes.

San Francisco Playhouse Mainstage productions rehearse 6-days per week, typically Tuesday-Sunday. Rehearsal times varies, but are often in the 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM range on weekdays and 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM on weekends.

Mainstage productions are 8 shows per week, Tuesday- Sunday, with matinee performances on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Second Theatre productions rehearse 5-days per week and perform 6 shows per week.
