Overview:
We are seeking enthusiastic and social individuals who have a passion for entertainment and enjoy working with children. As a member of our recreation team, you will be responsible for leading a variety of recreational activities to ensure our guests have a memorable and enjoyable experience. This position is active and primarily outdoors, requiring you to be energetic, engaging, and attentive to children's and guests' needs.
Responsibilities:
- Organize and lead recreational activities such as DJ pool parties, tie-dye sessions, petting farm visits, hay wagon rides, rock wall climbing, and other engaging activities.
- Set up, run, and pack away activity equipment and materials in a timely and efficient manner.
- Interact with guests of all ages, ensuring a positive and welcoming environment.
- Engage and supervise children during activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing guest inquiries and concerns professionally and courteously.
- Collaborate with other team members to plan and execute special events and themed activities.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of activity areas, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests.
- Follow established protocols and safety guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Assist with other duties as assigned by recreation management.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with children in a recreational or educational setting preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Energetic, outgoing, and enthusiastic personality.
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Flexibility to work WEEKENDS, holidays, and evenings as needed.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform duties in an outdoor environment.
- Minimial computer skills ( work an iPad to checkout purchases)
REQUIRES WEEKEND AND HOLIDAY AVAILABILITY
