Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. (up to 8 hours per day)No weekends or eveningsPosition Summary:We are seeking a dedicated and creative Activity Director to plan, coordinate, and oversee therapeutic and recreational activities for participants in our Adult Day Health Care Center. The Activity Director plays a key role in enhancing participants’ physical, cognitive, emotional, and social well-being through structured, engaging, and meaningful programming.Key Responsibilities:Develop, implement, and evaluate activity programs that meet the diverse needs and interests of participantsPlan individual and group activities that promote physical health, cognitive stimulation, social interaction, and emotional well-beingCollaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure activities support participants’ care plansMaintain appropriate documentation and ensure compliance with program and regulatory requirementsSupervise and coordinate activity staff and volunteers, as applicableEnsure a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for all participantsQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Recreational Therapy, Gerontology, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field; ORActivity Certification with a minimum of two (2) years of experience working in a healthcare or social service settingExperience working with older adults or individuals with chronic conditions preferredStrong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skillsAbility to plan and facilitate engaging, therapeutic activitiesWhat We Offer:Consistent weekday schedule (Monday–Friday)No weekends or evening hoursSupportive, team-oriented work environmentOpportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of adults and seniors
