The 49ers EDU Education Assistant is a key member of the 49ers EDU team. As the educational arm of the 49ers Foundation, 49ers EDU delivers paradigm-changing STEAM education programs, including “Home & Away,” to students across the Bay Area. 49ers EDU leverages the game of football and Levi’s® Stadium to spark interest in the fields of science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (STEAM) in K-8 youth. Through asynchronous lessons, in-person field trips, and live virtual lessons, 49ers EDU carries out the 49ers Foundation’s mission to Educate and Empower Bay Area Youth.
The Education Assistant will support all components of EDU programs, including the delivery of STEAM lessons, coordinating school field trips, and managing teacher relations on behalf of 49ers EDU. There are two (2) open positions, each with a slightly different focus: 1) operations support; and 2) administrative support that will still perform the general duties of the Education Assistant role.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assists in coordinating all program elements, including school group arrival/departure, waiver collection, student management, supervising student lunches, etc.
- Delivers 49ers EDU STEAM lesson instruction (in-person and virtually)
- Leads visiting school groups through tours of the museum and stadium, working with visitors in exhibits and workshops.
- Serves as a liaison to partner schools, teachers, and administrators regarding communication, troubleshooting, and all other logistical elements of student visits.
- Helps create and develop standards-aligned STEAM lessons and experiences.
- Assists in the collection and interpretation of data to support mission-driven storytelling.
- Assists in drafting and editing of educational materials and external communications.
- Supports the management of internal calendar and booking system while working with other 49ers departments to execute programming, as necessary.
- Supports troubleshooting technology for EDU educational purposes.
- Assists in administering and collecting data for program surveys.
- Leads execution of delegated projects alongside part-time EDU staff.
- Represents 49ers EDU at educational events.
- Assists in creating and executing partner-driven content, as assigned.
- Supports 49ers EDU and 49ers Foundation special events and gameday activations, as assigned.
- Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
- At least 0-1 years' relevant work experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Suite including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
