What are the responsibilities and job description for the Athletic Trainer Immersion Intern (Seasonal) position at San Francisco 49ers?
To provide a hard-working, dedicated candidate with an immersive seasonal internship opportunity within the Athletic Training department for a couple of weeks in May and during Training Camp. Upon completion of the internship, it is our hope that the knowledge gained provides valuable experience to support future career endeavors in athletic training and sports medicine.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assists Athletic Training staff with daily operations.
- Prepares and maintains facility, camp, and field setup, including taping areas, hydration stations, and emergency equipment.
- Assists with the daily setup and breakdown of all training and practice areas.
- Supports medical and administrative tasks under staff supervision.
- Maintains organization and inventory of supplies.
- Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
- Relevant work experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Pursuing or completed degree in Athletic Training, Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or related field preferred.
- Basic knowledge of athletic training principles preferred.
