We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
- Prepare and maintain the treatment area, ensuring compliance with aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
- Take and develop dental X-rays, ensuring adherence to safety standards.
- Record patient medical history, vital signs, and medical documentation accurately.
- Manage dental clinic operations, including scheduling appointments and coordinating with the dental receptionist.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Operate dental equipment such as 3D scanners and other imaging devices effectively.
- Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant in a clinical setting is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and procedures related to prosthodontics, endodontics, and general dentistry is essential.
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality is maintained at all times.
- Proficiency in taking X-rays and performing chairside assisting duties effectively.
- Strong communication skills to interact positively with patients of all ages, especially children in pediatric dentistry settings.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while demonstrating excellent organizational skills.
