Job Summary
The San Diego Unified School District is currently accepting applications for the position of Food Services Worker. This opportunity is open to all interested candidates. This is a continuous recruitment that will be used to establish an ongoing eligibility list for current and future hiring purposes.
The Food Service Worker assists in the preparation of food; cleans, washes, and maintains cafeteria utensils, machines, equipment, and work spaces.
POSITION SPECIFICS:
This recruitment will be used to fill various positions throughout the San Diego Unified School District.
10 months per year
3.5 hours per day
17.5 hours per week
Starting hourly rate $19.06
Part-time, non-benefit eligible
Requirements / Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Any combination of training, experience, and/or education equivalent to graduation from high school.
LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Possession of a valid California driver's license may be required for designated
positions which are assigned to prepare, transport, and serve food from a mobile
food preparation vehicle. Must successfully pass and maintain an approved food
service safety certification examination within sixty (60) days after appointment.
